The Lotus Empire: Events, Events, Events

Every time I come here, back to this newsletter, I sheepishly say it’s been a long time, and funnily enough, here it comes:

Hello! It’s been a long time!

If it helps, I come with news. The Lotus Empire, the final book of The Burning Kingdoms trilogy, is out on November 12th. I’m so excited to share this book with you. I began writing this series in 2019. The Jasmine Throne published in 2021, and I can say with my hand on my heart that this series changed my life utterly.

I’m also excited to share some upcoming events to celebrate this book and this trilogy.

THE LOTUS EMPIRE EVENTS

Wednesday 13th November: BOOK LAUNCH. The Common Press, 7pm - 8pm. TICKETS.

The launch is a chance to mingle, drink, eat cupcakes and buy books I can sign from you in person. This is not a panel or interview. Instead, this is your chance to chat with me and celebrate together. Numbers are very limited, so please book while you can! The Common Press is a fantastic queer bookshop and venue that you can also support directly as they fundraise for their future.

Thursday 14th November: TASHA SURI IN CONVERSATION WITH KATE DYLAN, Waterstones Covent Garden, 6pm. TICKETS.

Friday 15th November: AN EVENING WITH TASHA SURI AND CLAIRE NORTH, Oxford Waterstones, 7:30pm. TICKETS.

Before The Lotus Empire promo ramps up, I’m also hosting Kate Dylan on IG Live on Thursday 17th October, to celebrate her debut fantasy novel Until We Shatter. Then I’ll be at MCM ComicCon on Friday 25th October, and after that on the same day I’ll be at an event with James Logan and John Gwynne at Waterstones Piccadilly.
